It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Randal Binnie. His legacy will always be cherished and remembered.

Randal was a highly respected figure in the legal community, serving as a Nationally Accredited Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. He was also a trained collaborative lawyer, a Queensland Law Society Accredited Family Law Specialist, and a Notary Public. Admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 28 January 1992 and to the High Court of Australia, Randal’s career was marked by his dedication to the resolution of disputes through mediation and collaborative law.

Throughout his career, Randal’s primary focus was on fostering amicable resolutions outside the courtroom, although he had previously served as a court advocate. His approach to law was characterized by a deep commitment to helping families navigate complex legal matters with compassion and understanding.

Randal’s contributions to the legal profession and his commitment to helping others will be deeply missed by his colleagues, clients, and the broader community.
